Parking for Annual Meeting at Brown University

Providence is notorious for its parking tickets. If you are driving to the conference and need to park your car, we suggest one of the following options:

Options close to and on campus:

1. You will find all-day street parking close to campus on Hope Street between Barnes St and Angell St.
2. Should these spots be full, a pay lot is also available on campus: Brook Street (between George and Waterman Streets ($15/day or $3/hr Friday; $1.50/hr Sat-Sun)
3. We do not recommend using 2-hour and metered parking spots.

Downcity with shuttle to campus:

1. You can park in the parking garage at the Providence Place Mall and take a short walk to either the Renaissance Hotel or the Biltmore, where shuttles will be running to campus all day. The rates for this garage are:$2/ up to 5 hours, $10/up to 10 hours and $20/up to 20 hours, $25/24 hours.

NOTE: As part of the conference registration fee, you are provided with a free shuttle service from all conference-affiliated hotels—The Biltmore, Renaissance, Hilton, and Wyndham Garden—to College Hill (Faunce Gate on Prospect Street and the Metcalf Refectory on Waterman Street). Two buses will run throughout the day on Friday from 7am to 8pm, on Saturday from 7:30am to 8:30pm, and on Sunday from 7:30am to 12:30pm. You may also use RIPTA, the city and state bus system, whose schedule is best accessed via google maps.
