The Relativity of Relativism and Objectivization on Normative Ground - Referring to Fundamental Rights, Private Law and Manifestations

The normative structures are subjective to external ways of manifesting the commensurable approach to moral relativistic psyche projecting that moral progress is the objective reality prevailing due to specifications of culture, situation, language, or social attribution. Most of the   postmodernist   writings   verify   the   prejudicial   consequences   leading   to   certain consequential  legal  oriented  nexus  of  causality  both  in terms  of  normative  presumptive preposterous factuality or in context of immediate subjectivity to economic impact and its pre-emption. The presumptions regarding relativism say that it can lead to the conclusion that "anything goes". For example, they argue that cultural Objectivization and manifest cultural, ethnic, indigenous relativism through Religion and Popular Cultured Projections and enforcement of contemporary realities is more a derivation of the actual attribution of reality. It means either morality principle is to have its forbearing ground evading the quid pro quo of Subjectivity or the factual side is alteram partem the appropriation of social interrelationship supposed to be a correlative principle implementing the assumptions based on arbitrariness of assimilation and therefore it is irrevocably justified that slavery is right in a slave society and sexist practices are right in sexist culture. In the book Noam Chomsky’s Critique on Michael Foucault  regarding  moral  relativism we come across  his argument that  moral values are imbibed by way of genetic-inheritance, though they may be varying in their forms and patterns as per the acquisition of language, colour, race, or culture, and may raise the scepticism, yet “ The most extreme moral relativist is  actually committed  to  the belief in universal values.” Once we argue that there are  infinitely varying  moral values, we  have already accepted that there is an inherent mechanism allowing us to acquire all kinds of moral values.

Many of the theorists have different interpretation to understand the morality principle viz-a-viz the nexus of causality and obnoxiousness when involve in inflicting moral judgements focusing on the thin properties of goodness and badness – because objective information is based about morality through intuition. John Milton’s book Paradise Lost claims that Civil Disobedience of Man justifies ways of God to Men.   Michael Huemer in his book Ethics Intuitionism says moral judgements are cognitive states. While Immanuel Kant in his book The Metaphysics of Morals states that all immoral actions are irrational because they violate the “Categorical  Imperative” –  it  means that categorization  of  basic  moral duties towards ourselves and others, yet the same moral philosophy is interpreted in his other book The Critique of Practical Reason in making sense with such human endeavour that does not arise moral conflict due to too much of ethics – as moral absolutism/perfection may deprive of happiness or well-being if the subjectivity of one’s morality deprives existence as what Alexander  Pope  says  in  his  book  Essay  on  Criticism  “Whatever  is  Right,  is the Right”. 

The Seminar theme calls for the papers concerning the below given tentative thematic issues -

-     the practice and judgement in literature,

-     manifested built-in genetic-structure of human sensitivities,

-     their inherited visual development in the societal structures,

-     range of variations underlying morality principles and moral policing,

-     incoherence of relativists and sceptics,

-     denial of objective reality,

-     self-love and social love embracing metaethics to motivate human conduct,

-     the virtue of prudence - the presence of evil,

-     assumption of meaninglessness towards morals.

•     The abstract in the limit of 300 characters along with the bio-note of 50 characters is invited for the call for papers. Membership of ACLA is mandatory on the participation and presentation of paper. Upload the abstract for the aforementioned seminar theme for the Annual ACLA 2025 Meeting with bio-note as soon as possible, final discretion of the ACLA  screening  committee  and the  Seminar  Organisers  will  withstand the acceptance of your abstract proposal.
